Award winning Structural Engineer Chris Wise explores the beauty and pleasure in great engineering drawing on some of his highly acclaimed projects such as the Olympic Velodrome and the Infinity Bridge. Chris will explode the prejudices and explore the possibilities of imaginative engineering, looking into ways of encouraging engineers to be creative while still being respectful of the laws of physics and finance. Are engineers calculating machines or could this be the most exciting and creative profession?
