Frome Hoard Day
Back in April metal detector Dave Crisp put Frome on the map by unearthing one of the biggest Roman hoards ever found in Britain. See some of the coins and hear from the people involved about discovery, excavation and the troubled times in which the coins were buried.

Black Swan Masked Ball at Rook Lane Chapel
As winter approaches, the nights are drawing in and the darkly beautiful Birds exhibition comes to a close at Black Swan Arts. This sets the perfect stage for the Black Swan Masked Ball. Taking place in the splendid eighteenth century Rook Lane Chapel on the night of Saturday 30th October, townsfolk will flock to the grand masquerade for a night to remember.
