Richard May is one of Britain’s most outstanding cellists. Since winning the string section of Young Musician of the Year 1984 he has performed throughout the world, at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, South Bank and Barbican centres. Nicholas Oliver won the Young Pianist of the Year in 1984 and is joint Head of Accompaniment at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester.
