Sunday 26th April

Performance 5.30pm (doors open 4.45pm)

A programme with a French accent to include works by Arrieu, Francaix and Milhaud. Claire, Joanna and Romola are postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music where they formed their trio in June 2008. Since then they have enjoyed a number of recitals in London and further afield.

Sunday 17th May

Performance 5.30pm (doors open 4.45pm)

Transcriptions for classical accordion and cello of works by Bach, Rachmaninov and Piazolla. Rafal’s concert life began in Poland under the tutelage of his father. Aged just 21 he has one prizes all over Europe. Jessica Hayes won the RAM’s Delius prize in 2008 and has performed under the baton of Vladmir Ashkenazay.

Performing Joseph Haydn’s “Dream” quartet no. 40 in F Major, and Mozart’s “Dissonance” Quartet in C Major. The Kaxan String Quartet has set itself the challenge of performing both the traditional and contemporary repertoire, a number of which they have premiered.
