Past Events

In Baker’s lifetime, Frome Museum was the town’s Scientific and Literary Institute, and members would have followed his famous achievements through contemporary press. As part of ‘Bridging the World’, we re-create a Victorian Reading Room, with a plethora of material relating to Baker, alongside books and periodicals on the art of engineering today.
