Artmusic presents Melanie Pappenheim and Rebecca Askew in FLAM Postponed

Sunday 5th July 2009

2.30 – 3.10pm and 4.30 – 5.10pm (doors open 2.00pm)

This performance has been postponed until further notice. Details of the new date will be posted here when it becomes available.

Two women meet for coffee. They greet each other and sing together. A unique piece of voice theatre composed by Orlando Gough and directed by Emma Bernard, exploring the vocal, physical and comic skills of two extraordinary performers. Pappenheim (whose ethereal voice features on ‘Doctor Who’) and jazz singer Askew are “quite brilliant. They gossip, compete, sympathise and conduct a hilarious singing lesson in unison and counterpoint. Witty, touching and virtuosic, it’s a little gem.” (Sunday Telegraph)

2 – 5pm Afternoon tea and cakes available from Food Frome in the Rook Lane Chapel Café 2pm to 5pm

This event is sponsored by Phil Moakes and Maggie Gregory.
