Back in April metal detector Dave Crisp put Frome on the map by unearthing one of the biggest Roman hoards ever found in Britain. On 23 October Somerset Heritage Service launch the campaign to keep the hoard in Somerset.
See some of the coins and hear from the people involved about discovery, excavation and the troubled times in which the coins were buried.
Speakers include: Steve Minnitt from Somerset Heritage Services, Dave Crisp, finder, Anna Booth, archaeologist, and Roger Bland and Sam Moorhead from the British Museum.
Adults and children welcome.

Rook Lane event: Tickets £4 adults / £2 children.
