Tea Concert 2: Sónia Grané and
Tiago Gomes de Matos

Sónia Grané was born in Lisbon, where she graduated in Biology, before following her passion for music and studying at The Royal Academy of music as a post-grad. Sónia has sung in master classes with Angelika Kirschlager, Ann Murray and Sarah Walker and has won several competitions. She is an experienced recitalist and has also interpreted a number of opera roles, ranging from Purcell’s Dido to Sophie in Strauss’s ‘Der Rosenkavalier’.

Tiago Gomes de Matos began his musical studies at the age of four at the Academia de Musica de Vilar do Paraiso. Before graduating in 2007 – with the highest mark – Tiago participated in festivals and competitions in Holland, Germany and Russia. He has performed in master classes with several top internationally renowned guitarists including Roland Dyens, Dejan Ivanovic and Fabio Zanon.

Doors open at 5.15pm when tea and biscuits will be served. Concert will begin at 6pm and last one hour, without an interval.

Tickets cost £18 for series of three teatime concerts. £10 for 21 and under. Or £8 on the door.
