Somerset Art Weeks 2011 – Blue II

A fascinating 18th-century dyers woad recipe book from Wallbridge Mill, in Frome, is the inspiration behind Blue II.
The exhibition will include Bronwen Bradshaw’s print and video, Carolyn Griffith’s glasswork and Duncan Elliot’s sculpture. Jewellery from Ellie Swinhoe and Elin Thomas will sit alongside Jennie Gilling’s Cyantypes, Sarah Truscott’s textiles; Pauline Watson’s ceramics and painting and printmaking from Nicky Knowles, Ros Ford and Sue Conrad.
