For eight days some of the brightest minds from the worlds of science, art, education, religion, media and business will be coming to Frome to share their vision for the future of our planet.

The festival launches on Thursday 10th May with a keynote talk on “Our Human Planet and the Future” by Dale Templar, producer of BBC’s Human Planet series. On Saturday 12th May Rook Lane will play host to Consciousness Day, which will incorporate talks from leading speakers Professor Max Welmans, Professor Raymond Tallis and Rita Carter. Other highlights include William Bloom, who will be giving a talk on wellbeing and mindfulness in education, and Professor John D Barrow speaking about “Our Universe and Some Others”. The festival will draw to a close with an evening with Tim Macartney, founder of sustainable enterprise education centre Embercombe.
