BRACE - The future of dementia treatment: how close are we to finding a cure?

Dr Rob Williams

Rob is a research scientist at the University of Bath working to understand the molecular mechanisms that cause Alzheimer's Disease. His aim is to identify new therapeutic approaches for the treatment of dementia and his current research relates to dietary factors and brain health.

Dr Andrea Tales

Andrea is a research scientist working to further differentiate between the very early stages of dementia and cognitively healthy ageing. Her aim is to improve early diagnosis and thus increase the potential for effect treatment.

D4Dementia - Beth Britton - Living with dementia: a family’s perspective

Beth is a dementia campaigner and high profile blogger. Beth’s father had vascular dementia for the last 19 years of his life. Beth’s aim is to provide support and advice to those faced with similar situations, promote debate and campaign for improvements in dementia care. d4dementia.blogspot.co.uk
