With the first Coffee Concert of the season sold out and the subsequent two set to follow shortly, there is no doubt that Rook Lane Chapel remains a prime location for classical musicians and fans alike. Frome Concert Group are continuing in their vision to bring the very best in classical performances to the town, with this latest series as no exception.
In addition to January and February’s morning concerts, the group are also planning a one-off special to kick off Spring here at the chapel. On Sunday March 3rd , Rook Lane Arts will be welcoming Kammerphilharmonie Eurpoa, a 10 piece chamber orchestra who will be touring the UK and Europe and are stopping off with us on their way to London.
The concert, organised by Jackdaws and the Frome Concert Group, will be the first time a chamber orchestra of this size has played at Rook Lane Chapel, and offers a uniqe chance to hear world class classical music being performed in the setting for which is was intended.
The programme will include Vivaldi, Grieg and Bach plus many more. Tickets are available at the current run of Coffee Concerts, so if you have a ticket for the concerts on 27th January or 10th February you’ll be able to purchase tickets for March 3rd then.
