Woody Guthrie was the unwitting voice of the depression and dustbowl years, famously saying: “All you can write is what you see”, and a champion for the hard-hit folks who didn’t have a voice. He became an inspiration for many singers such as Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Billy Bragg and Bruce Springsteen.
In this show, actor and musician Dave Plimmer tells the story of the music and the man, mixing biographical monologue in the voice of Guthrie with his songs, celebrating his art and fire-plagued story. Book your tickets for this immersive biographical show here:
