Frome Kindness Festival: Tea Dance for Young & Old
Saturday 16th March
1pm to 3pm
An afternoon of music, fun and connection that brings together Frome’s youngest and oldest, with live music from the BathTub Orchestra and from local musician Rosanna Schura.
Step into a world of warmth and connection at our Festival Tea Dance, a special event for children aged 0-6 years and for the over 60’s. Enjoy a blend of fun and heartwarming activities such as stories, puzzles and games, plus live music from the BathTub Orchestra and from Rosanna Schura, who will be singing all the old classics. This will be a joyful celebration of community, where we will foster bonds that bridge the age gap, letting kindness take centre stage.
The BathTub Orchestra is a community orchestra founded in Bath in 2018 and which plays all kinds of music from pop songs to jazz, blues, film soundtracks and classical favourites. You can find them online at www.bathtuborchestra.com and also on youtube and facebook.
We are looking for 20 children plus accompanying adults to join us for the Tea Dance. Members of the older generation will be joining us from local care homes and support groups. Please contact Gemma on firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the event. Tea, squash, biscuits and cake will be served.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please come prepared to hold your child on your lap, if they need it, as we haven’t got any high chairs.
