Mr Rook’s Speak Easy Presents: Knotwork, The Magic of Making by Angharad Wynne

Creating is a magical act. We sense it, our ancestors knew it. In this knotwork of stories and songs, Angharad weaves the enchantments of the forge and the spells of the loom, tales of mythical makers and the magical things they made.
Angharad has been immersed all her life in the stories, songs, history and traditions of Britain, particularly her native Wales. She’s deeply interested in myths and folklore anchored in the landscape that may well form a fragment of the almost forgotten dreaming of Britain. Committed to re-connecting people to the magic bubbling in our land, Angharad regularly leads walks and retreats exploring possible songlines and the storied and sacred landscapes of Britain.

Tickets are £6 and £4 concessions in advance or £7 and £5 concessions on the door
