Join Katy Rose Bennett for a day of glorious a-cappella harmony singing in the lovely Rook Lane Chapel, Frome

Katy will be bringing a load of her own a cappella songs and arrangements which she’ll lead in her unique, energetic and infectious teaching style! Katys songs are very popular in community choirs across the UK and beyond.  It’ll be fun, relaxed and engaging. You’ll leave with songs and harmonies stuck in your heads for a good few weeks!

This workshop is hosted by Clara Atkins ‘Sing With Clarity’. Clara leads two community choirs, a peace choir and a women’s wellbeing singing circle, as well as running one-off singing workshops. “I am a big fan of Katy’s songs and my choirs really enjoy singing her songs. I am excited to be hosting her in Frome and can’t wait to hear what songs she’ll be sharing.”https://www.claraceciliaatkins.com/

What’s it all about?

You will learn songs by ear in harmony over the course of the day. There’s no need to read music as all songs will be taught by ear. All singing abilities are welcome.

Timings:

9.30am – Doors Open (Please don’t arrive before this time – we will still be setting up and preparing for the day. Thank you.)

10am – Workshop Begins

4pm – Workshop Ends

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch.
