Sunday Afternoon Concert: Alexandra Dariescu

With her effortless musicality, captivating stage presence and generosity of spirit, Alexandra Dariescu has won the hearts of audiences and critics in prestigious venues all over the world. She certainly dazzled at her previous performances at Rook Lane Chapel. This time she returns with a full length concert of impressionist inspired French music.
In demand as a soloist worldwide, Dariescu has performed to critical acclaim with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Oslo Philharmonic, European Union Youth Orchestra, Utah Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de Quebec and Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, among others. Conductors she worked with include Jiří Bělohlávek, Alexandre Bloch, Michael Francis, Fabien Gabel, Ben Gernon, Cristian Măcelaru, Jun Märkl, Vasily Petrenko, André de Ridder, Clemens Schuldt, Alexander Shelley and John Storgårds.
She will be performing.
