Katarina Dordevic and Guy-Noel Clarisse, violins, Jordan Bowron, viola, and Lucia Capellaro, cello, will play quartets from the classical period by fellow Austrians Haydn and his contemporary Joseph Eybler.

Marciana makes frequent appearances across Europe and Asia, both in small ensembles and as a soloist. Rebecca returns to the Chapel following her appearances as the cellist in the Castalian Quartet. Marciana and Rebecca will be playing duets by Bach, Gliere, Kodaly and others.

We have wondered for several years how a solo cello programme would be received as part of our Coffee Concert series. In the end we felt that a pairing in which the cello is an equal partner to the violin would be more widely appreciated.
